Pivot Steer / Bendi / Flexi

The Pivot Steer is commonly refereed to as a “bendi” or “flexi” lift truck. They are a cross between a counterbalance and reach lift trucks. Their unique design allows the mast to swing 90° to either side meaning that this type of lift truck works in the narrowest isles, the highest racking bays and the most demanding multi shift operations. Known as an “Articulated Forklift” they are versatile and a multi purpose machine. They allow you to unload in your yard and then do the work of narrow isle fork lifts e.g. Reach eliminating the need for additional machines.

‘E-Truck’ Digital Training Courses

E-Truck Training

Digital Learning is transforming training with technology.

E-truck training is the latest tool approved by a major FLT accredited body.

Research shows that facts are x20 times more likely to be understood and remembered when told via a story which tackle real issues relating to safety and operator behaviour.

The engaging and memorable nature of this means it often increases training effectiveness as learners retain information better while reducing training time by as much as 2 days.

Reach Forklift Training

Gets it’s name from being able to “reach” beyond points of a counterbalance lift truck. They use stabilising legs rather than a counterbalance weight to give them essential flexibility of movement. A notable difference is that the operator sits sideways on.

Reach lift trucks are usually chosen for jobs that require lifting to greater heights (10M+) and are usually used indoors on even surfaces due to their low undercarriage. This makes them ideal for reaching out into racking, to great heights and in tight working environments.

Powered Pedestrian Truck

These come in a variety of designs. They can be rider operated via a fixed or hinged platform or pedestrian walk along. They are easy to operate and manoeuvre in tight spaces such as a lorry trailer. They normally only lift to a low height 12” and are designed to move pallet loads around whilst removing the manual handling for the operator.

Pedestrian Pallet Stacker

Again these come in a wide range from manual, semi and fully powered. Pallet stackers enable operators to carry out the same activities as standard pedestrian pallet trucks but with the additional capability of stacking and de-stacking goods at height. These are often used as a smaller cheaper and more convenient alternative to fork lift trucks.

Order Pickers (Low & High Level)

Typically found in busy distribution centres they like the PPT are designed to improve the efficiency and productivity operating at ground level whilst removing some of the manual handling for the operator. As the name suggests there are a piece of equipment to assist with the transportation whilst picking orders. These are operated by standing in a forward facing direction and using the controls to drive the truck whilst the forks trail behinds carrying the pallets with the goods on.
